This year’s Let’s Talk! Professionals Conference was especially designed for educators and mental health clinicians who support Asian and Asian American students in K-12 schools, higher education, and in the community.
Over the course of two days, a dynamic group of presenters representing clinicians, educators, and educational leaders aimed to (1) describe anti-Asian racism and its long historical context, including through an intergenerational trauma lens, (2) recognize the very real mental health impacts of anti-Asian racial trauma on AAPI students and educators/adults, and (3) incorporate strategies in your own work setting to promote healing and resilience among AAPI students.
Thank you to our 350+ participants from 16 states spanning elementary school to post-collegiate educational settings! We are so grateful for your passion and advocacy and look forward to continuing the conversation.
Below are session materials and resources described during the conference, organized by day.
